Wow! I can't believe it's been 10 years!

Ten years ago today my first son was born. It is so hard to imagine that he is growing up so fast. He was the best baby in the world! He never needed entertaining and was just always so happy. As a toddler I did have a few scary moments. He had no fear of just running off. One time I was at Mervyn's trying on shoes for him and he was buckled in the stroller when I let him out to walk with the shoes to see how they fit. He was gone in a flash - the whole store was looking for him when they realized he just wasn't in the store. He had ran out of the store and down to the far end of the mall into an arcade. He has a memory like and elephant and we had taken him to the arcade once before and apparently wanted to go back. He has a permanent bump on his head from continually hitting and bumping it.
Now he is ready for his first orthodontic appointment and heading to 4th grade on monday. It has been a great 10 years !
